I've totally redone this list as this topic was quite out of date. It was quite fun to see it again though!

1. Colorful- My favorite animated film, my favorite film period.

2. Tangled- Best Disney animated comedy and my favorite Disney movie period.

3. Inside Out- Amazing Pixar film, my second favorite from the studio.

4. It's Such a Beautiful Day- Indeed it is! Such a mesmerizing film!

5. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya- Amazing, the highlight of the series!

6. How To Train Your Dragon- Dreamworks best film, hands down!

7. The Garden of Words- Gave me that "Bambi" feel, very rare for any film to do that.

8. Frozen- A wonderful Disney musical, deserves all it's praise.

9. When Marnie Was There- Wonderful Ghibli film, I love movies like this in general.

10. Wolf Children- Beautiful and enchanting, though I wish I loved it more.

I think it is very well written (from the same woman who wrote Frozen). I find the setting schizophrenic on a personal level, though. However, it's worth cheking out. B+

I assume by "decade so far" you mean the 2010's. So here goes:

1) How to Train Your Dragon 2
2) Wreck-It Ralph
3) How to Train Your Dragon
4) Toy Story 3
5) Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox
6) Tangled
7) Paranorman
8) Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (I count parts 1 and 2 as one film)
9) Big Hero 6
10) The Lego Movie

It pained me to realize that Summer Wars, which I wanted to put at #1 so badly, was 2009.

Kaguya, by far, and not just of the decade, and not just one of my favorite animated films. I have watched it last night and it haunts me still, in fact it started "working" inside my mind the way my big movie loves do. That is the one thing that warrants a 10/10 rating from me.

Then there was Zootopia, with 8/10 - an ubercute funny thing.

Then The Secret Life of Pets with 7/10.

I have not seen many movies from your list, such as It's Such a Beautiful Day, My Dog Tulip, The Illusionist, Ernest et Celestine, A Letter to Momo and The Art of Happiness.

I was not too impressed by Frozen, and was slightly disappointed by Song of the Sea after having loved The Book of Kells. The Congress was interesting but caught me at a bad time, I'd have to watch it again. I am not interested at all to see The LEGO Movie. And I had a complicated relationship with The Wind Rises - at first I was deeply offended by its subject matter, then I realised that I had interpreted the thing from the wrong perspective, but that did not impress me enough to actually want to rewatch the movie.

Nice thread, a great source of recommendations!
