I really miss his character badly. Decided to rewatch Season 1 and the burger king scenes were sooo funny. I loved the character and it's very sad the actor suddenly passed.

I know, it's such a tragedy. The poor guy, and his poor family. And of course, what a hit to the show. I still love Silicon Valley and think they've done a really good job recouping and changing the story, but watching season 1 it's obvious that they had a whole different plan in mind for how this whole series was going to play out, and Peter Gregory was at the heart of it.

He was such a major presence in every scene he was in, without even putting in much effort. Gavin, on the other hand, has to go almost over the top to get attention.
Way too soon, for that guy. At least he went out in a memorable role. Most actors can't/won't be able to say as much.

Fascinating character. I was looking forward to how his relationship with Gavin would play out, would they ever be friends again. When the two had an accidental meeting it was nice to see a human side of Gavin, that he missed his youthful friendship with Peter. Did the meeting make him realize what a dick he had become?

Yeah, his character is a crack up.......well-played by the actor. Very convincing performance of someone eccentric like that but unique. The casting for this show is probably best ever for a tv show....or among the best.
