Just finished the series
There were some aspects I really appreciated about this show. The way the victims were murdered was creative, but it takes way too long to get the answers.

Don't you see that is why it's such a good series? No true formula? Not 'Hollywood' at all? How they do things far away in Wales unlike us on-demand around here? A condition you're exhibiting.
Love this series! I am watching it on Netflix. Wow what inventive ways to kill a person.
This show alone make me like to visit Wales just for the scenery alone! How do anyone get around without a car or cell phones? The locations are far, lonely and uniquely beautiful.
I love the characters of the show except the Chief inspector.😠There is something he is hiding and a bit strange about him.😒 People on this forum complain that there is no laughter on this show. So what if the main characters do not smile, but they can tell a great story. As the ex-London detective is learning Wales, so are the TV audience.
Too bad it was only 4 ep. I hope there is a 2nd season.

Police carry guns in Ireland, but not England or Wales. Not sure about Scotland.
I saw one British series were because they dont carry guns an officer got killed by a maniac with an axe and her partner beat the man to death after she handcuffed him. Had they been carrying guns they'd have both shot him, in self defense. He'd still be dead but both officers would be alive.
