Beginning the series tonight

I am half Welsh (my mother was Welsh) and we are looking forward to this series. My wife has no connection to Wales but she loves it and all things Welsh as much as I do. We've traveled quite a bit all around the country and the places names bring back warm memories for both of us.

This post may be pointless but its sincere.

Can't wait to get it started.

Just finished it (couple of days ago).

I and a few others seem to be late to the party...just wondering how you/others heard about the show.

I stumbled across it on Netflix; had never heard of it OR seen anyone in the cast before.

The only reason I stopped long enough to even give it a second look is that the lead actor looked so much like the lead actor from another show that I thought it WAS him.

Anyway, just curious...

A friend of mine mentioned having seen it and knowing that I I like British crime dramas and Wales recommended it to me.

I've got one episode to go. I found the series on Netflix, Been watching a lot of UK series, mostly set in England, but I did watch one set in Belfast. I'm not English, Irish or Welsh, but like the shows.

I caught “Broadchurch” when it was broadcast here (US); and like it very much. (There was a later US version called, “Gracepoint”…also starring David Tennant…didn’t see that one; but only because “Broadchurch” got to me first.

So, if you have any recommendations; wouldn’t mind seeing other shows of this genre.
