Season 1 Finale!!!!

The Season 1 finale of MIGHTY MED was awesome. The action looked fantastic, the special effects were great and super funny jokes. Skylar's story change was surprising and she was great at playing EVIL! Wallace & Clyde and Horace are super funny and all the back story on Catastrophe and Horace was really exciting. This show just keeps getting better!!

Best season finale of a Disney show (DXD and DC) I've seen since I started watching regularly in 2007. The tension it built to the climax was just right. As usual, the jokes and running gags were great.

I first watched Mighty Med only to see Bradley and Jake in their new roles, but I was immediately hooked and now it is my favorite of all the DC-DXD shows currently in production.

I will miss Randy and Jason Sklar if Wallace (Randy) and Clyde (Jason) are off the show now that Catastrophe is defeated and the Dyad of Nebulon destroyed. The brothers were very funny and their comic timing and delivery were impeccable.

I intend to commandeer the television on October 20 when the season opener debuts. My speculation: the boys defeat the Annihilator by pulling out the tube that runs into his mask/helmet because without the mask/helmet he's just a regular guy -- and this will set Skylar and Experion free from his evil grip. But I see in the cast list that the Annihilator actor is listed for 8 episodes so it might take awhile.

Yeah, I know filankey is not a word, but it's gonna catch on.

Perhaps, but who knows. It looks like the Annihilator is the new main villain. He's the first villain to appear in this series whose treated completely and utterly seriously. All the others get a couple of light hearted moments to soften the threat.

I also can't help but wonder about all the jars he had filled with heroes powers. I mean discounting Skylar there was over a dozen of them. How many heroes has he stolen the powers from? And what happened to them? Considering Skylar or anyone else never tried to look them up, are they still alive? Did the Annihilator kill them? Or did all there villains take advantage of this and kill them?

Either way, this guy is certainly evil.

Loved it, it was exciting, it was intriguing and it had plenty of humour. I like this show, it feels a bit more mature than most similar shows, the manage to balance the serious and the funny out quite well, and give us very good characters.

The stakes are certainly very high, can't wait till the premier next month.
