Why the 2 boys?

If what the hospital needs is comic book experts, there are plenty of responsible adults that don't have to tell many people where they've been (like parents and teachers).

I don't think the idea that comic book experts might be beneficial ever occurred to them. Oliver and Kaz had already discovered there secrets meaning they either had to silence or mind wipe them. Then it turned out they could be useful. So it was simply a case of Horace killing two birds with one stone.

You realize mostly kids 9-12 watch Disney XD, so they would want to watch other KIDS have this adventure, not adults.
Most kid's programming is all about wish fulfillment and every boy I know loves the show because they think it would be so cool to work in a superhero hospital.

Yes. So?

reply

they could've just hired the comic writers, but it's a Disney XD show; there's supposed to be young protagonists.

reply

The comic writers do work at Mighty Med. There's an episode where Horace introduces them to the writer, hoping Oliver and Kaz can help generate more or sales.

And I recall them being reluctant to hired them. But it's XD they almost always use two male protagonists, I think a male and a dorky girl would've worked too.

And I think the green text is awesome.

Disney is backwards sometimes. The network aimed at boys should feature more girls and the one aimed at girls should feature more guys. They do a decent job casting pretty girls on XD shows. Oana Gregory, Kelli Berglund, Paris Berelc, Olivia Holt and the girl from Pair of kings are all hot. Most shows have one girl in the cast and that's it.
