Philadlphia
Alert viewers may have noticed that Mighty Med is set in Philadelphia.
In a post in another board I wrote:
And maybe the writers just don't care to do the research.
In an episode where Austin and Ally went from Miami to Times Square on New Year's their plane had to land in Philadelphia and they took a cap to New York City and got out by the Ross's apartment building by Central Park, even though Central Park is FARTHER from Philly than Times Square is.
Maybe the cab driver took the scenic route so he could charge them more.
But the writers ignored the possibility that they could take the train line from the Airport to Center City and get either a bus or a train to New York City. The Austin and Ally writers didn't bother to look up whether Philadelphia was a small town or a major city on major transportation routes.
There was an episode of The 6,000,000 Dollar Man where someone stole the Liberty Bell from Independence Hall and drove away on a dirt track. In Center City Philadelphia. Later they looked for the bad guys in the mountains SOUTHEAST of Philadelphia - in ultra flat New Jersey by the seashore.
ON the other hand, Mighty Med once or twice showed more skyscrapers that Philadelphia has, as in the last scene of the final episode with the heroes flying between the skyscrapers. share
