How ignorant is that??? Or am I the ignorant one thinking that in the USMC the 'p' isn't silent? Which would also mean R Lee Ermey (a marine) is also ignorant, as is Al Matthews (a vet, but maybe not a marine)
shareHow long have you been on the internet? . It's obvious many people are linguistically impaired and will pronounce the "p" in "corps" and the "c" in "indicted" and will spell to/two/too or there/they're/their however they see fit.
Then again, different societies spell and pronounce things differently. So it's not unreasonable to consider that the woman hails from an area where the "p" is pronounced (probably some place where they spell "color" with a "u")
