Am I the only one who thought this movie was overly long?
I really liked the premise, but I felt like a lot of time was spent with these long pauses and scenes that didn't add much to the story. The movie was about 30 minutes to long in my opinion. The other thing is the atmospheric music was sometimes a bit 'spa massage parlor background music' to me. There's nothing wrong with silence or filling a scene with dialogue/action instead of crescendos.
Another thing, the story focused on Alex without developing the EMT. Was her world also a writers creation or the real world? What role did the psychiatrist have to play? Now that he's in her world, what's next? I don't mind open ended movies, but there were too many loose ends in this one.
