Helena Bonham Carter is the Only good thing about this film

She was funny and charismatic. Her Red Queen is incredible.

I guess the March Hare was okay, too.

The others were so boring that it was sad. How could a film with characters such as the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter be so boring? How could Sacha Baron Cohen be boring? Quite an astounding feat. I know to avoid this director's future work.

I would avoid this movie. Just: no good. No fun.

(Saw it on Netflix so other than paying with time, I didn't waste a penny.)

The special effects are really good, first time I watched it is did not like it, but I've been watching it now for the last several days (again) for the 5th time and now I love it

I tend to quite often watch and re-watch movies, as I find that with more viewings, I pick up things that I may have missed the first time or so around. I found the film quite enjoyable for the most part. Granted, I did not see the first one, so I am unable to make any type of comparison.

I wish there was more Hatter time, and more Red Queen time, as I really enjoyed their roles. I have disliked everything that Cohen has done (his idea of entertainment and comedy just isn't my cup of tea), but I was so surprised because I thought he did a splendid job here!

I do also wish there was more of Cheshire Cat as well. I don't think he had more than a few lines. Not to mention Alan Rickman (RIP)...

This was a splendid movie and was filled with stunning and colourful eye-candy. It was beautiful to watch! I just feel some of the characters were under-utilized. (Perhaps they had larger parts in the first movie?) Until it becomes available on Netflix, I won't be watching it, but I'm looking forward to it!

Yeah, I'm just gonna go ahead and disagree with everything you said except the Helena Bonham Carter part. Very enjoyable movie.

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

Sacha Baron Cohen was by far the most entertaining part of this enjoyable film.

Cohen was great. Carter was too. Wasikowska was better than in the first one. Ifans did a nice job.
Depp and Hathaway looked bored.
But the main problem with this movie is Woolverton's script.
