'Overvalued, Used, Discarded'

Loved the scene with Cusack in ep 3.

Really like this show! Nice truthful details of the rarified world Emily Mortimer lives in, and they also get so many
nuances and subtleties of universal themes, especially close friendships between women. Lots of cringey
moments in the best way, means they're hitting close to home. Cameos are A+.

Great show!

I liked episode 3 a lot. Better than 1 or 2, but I needed 1 and 2 to get to where I liked 3, I think. I don't understand the low rating, unless it's from people who don't watch any BBC, and they don't 'get' the humor. Maybe?

and they don't 'get' the humor

Sounds a lot like blaming the viewer.

Well said. I like this quite a bit. The cruel little moments are special, in that we rarely see them in mainstream productions. I confess to enjoying Doll being put back in her place, its a guilty pleasure.

Is this the world Emily Mortimer lives in, or is it fiction?

Never once even tempted to watch this rubbish.

He's describing women in our culture, you understand, right? And it might seem satirical, but it's reality.

Especially true statement about female actresses.
