Rip Off of Big Stan!

This was done already by Rob Schneider in a movie he directed called Big Stan. The movie was actually pretty darn good...Come on Hollywood come up with some new material!

Big Stan was way a better movie than this one.. Wonder why they end up making it

garons, I couldn't agree more...

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this plot and storyline was "Big Stan".. a pretty darn good movie, as you said... but still, the Kevin Hart vs. Will Ferrell cast gives this story a twist and a certain level of integrity that Rob Schneider wasn't able to give Big Stan...

To be honest, I felt 'Get Hard' is more like a Shawshank Redemption level movie, more than it was similar too 'Big Stan', similar plots in both 'Big Stan' & 'Get Hard' but completely different levels of movie-making.

At least, that's my opinion :)

That made me laugh harder than I laughed at the movie itself. 10 stars for subtly injected humor.

the real difference was that Big Stan was actually a comedy and full of laughs. this pretended to be a comedy and had no laughs. all concerned should be ashamed of themselves.

big stan was indeed epic.

wow rob schneider actually has some good movies.. the hot chick was actually good and the deuce bigalow movies were great.

go rob

Rob's batting average is better than people pretend: The Hot Chick, the first Deuce, and Big Stan are all genuinely funny right through, and he made a drama about suicide, The Chosen One, in which his dramatic acting was good. Definitely more talented than e.g. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are.

That was the first thing I thought of.

Say what you want about Schneider, but "Big Stan" is quite funny.

"'Big Stan' is quite funny." Currently has a higher imdb rating than Get Hard does.

Absolutely this a rip-off of Big Stan. Same plot. And what makes me laugh is these two bozos claim they pitched the plot in 2012 - Big Stan came out 5 years before that:
