Explicit gay anal sex in an R-Rated movie.

When will this happen?

Several years ago, it was unheard of to see genitals in an R-Rated movie. Boobs, bums and women's pubic hair, yes, but no genitalia.

Then male genitalia shot for a few seconds from a distance was given the green light for an R rating.

Then close-ups of male genitalia was okayed.

Then semi-erect male genitalia okayed.

Now this move has a semi-erect penis lying on another man's face and gets an R.

Next year we get a penis touching another man's mouth?

Year after that = full on gay blow job?

So, in which year will explicit gay anal sex be acceptable in a R-rated movie? 2020?

There's movies from the 1970s with full-frontal nudity. Do you watch movies?

Personally as a woman, I am SICK of seeing women naked in movies, particularly geared towards the male gaze. For decades now women have tolerated seeing women naked in film for absolutely no reason relevant to the plot in most cases. So it seems only fair that if we always have to view random tit and ass shots then they should start showing men. There's usually a random lesbo scene in a film to titilate viewers - why not add gay sex scenes for the gay audiences? When the shoe is on the other foot, it's not so nice is it?

THAT SAID, personally I think film needs to class itself up a bit. We don't need all this random nudity thrown in for the sake of it, whether the nudity is male, female, gay or straight.

Male chest and ass shots are shown a lot more often than female chest and ass. Male genitals are shown a hell of a lot more often than female genitals. In every category, the male version is shown more than the female version, so how can you claim women are nude more than men? Are you ignorantly comparing a man's penis to a women's tits and ass? These are not equal parts. The only equal to a penis is vagina, and vaginas are almost never shown in Hollywood films.

Also, I've never seen a movie in Hollywood with lesbianism as the storyline. In fact, Hollywood has completely ignored lesbians and only focus on gay male characters (movies like Brokeback Mountain, and many others).

I disagree with you re your nudity comments completely but I do agree that Hollywood ignores lesbian love stories and focuses on male storylines.

Saying that I watch a lot of non-Hollywood cinema and have watched plenty of LGBT movies. Hollywood can barely write 1 female character, let alone 2 in a relationship.

You disagree that men are showing more skin than women? Male chest shown more than female chest, male butt shown more than female butt, male genitals shown more than female genitals. In every category, the male version is shown more often than the female version. What women tend to do is compare ANY part of a woman (chest, butt, genitals) to ONE part of a man (genitals) and claim women are showing more than men which is false - and totally unfair to use three parts of a woman to one part of a man as "nudity."

I do completely agree with you regarding the lack of lesbian characters in Hollywood films. If Hollywood filmmakers watched Blue is the Warmest Color, they would take a big dump in their pants because they wouldn't be able to handle that. "Ew! Two women in love with each other, and they each have a vagina, gross!" - I can imagine them reacting like that.
