Gay Scene

I've been a horror movie fan for years and I'm glad we finally got a damn gay couple. You rarely see any horror movies with a gay couple or a gay character. Finally!!!

Your racial and sexual discriminating opinion was not needed at all. What in the movie is "moral" to your God, by the way, and why are you watching a rated R horror movie?

reply

This loser isn't a real Godly person. True Godly people don't act like that.

reply

That was the worst scene in the film, including the music they used for it. The film created an environment where the 70s melted into the modern world but this scene was unnecessary and out of place.

If you want to watch gays in horror go see them *beep* and eat each other in Cannibal: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0910548/

reply

that was a real event. not the same thing as a slasher.

reply

That's exactly what I thought. The scene was totally gratuitous and out of place in the movie. Added zero to the plot and storyline overall.

reply

Yeah, it added nothing but the agenda of homosexuality to the movie. It was a bald faced ploy to placate those who promote homosexuality- period.

reply

DA EVOL HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA

PROMOTING MASS HOMOSEXUALITY VIA OBSCURE HORROR/SLASHER FILMS THAT NEVER REALLY MAKE IT OUT TO THE MAINSSTREAM

you're a *beep* retard lmao

reply

Isn't that true of just about every sex scene in a horror film?

reply

Try this:

The scene with the marine and his chick was totally gratuitous and out of place in the movie. Added zero to the plot and storyline overall.

reply

That as well

reply

Yeah the way they sat next to each other in the car without touching at all was so gratuitous. It wasn't like the sex scene between the military dude and his girlfriend which really moved the plot forward and was essential to the overall story.

reply

There was a cool gay slasher from 2004 called Hellbent. Check it out, if you havent seen it already.

reply

The gay scene was not what I was expecting, it was like two straight dudes drove out in the middle of nowhere to try and do gay things. It almost felt like it was written by someone that didn't understand homosexuals... of course I don't know, maybe people have actually had experiences like that.

Realistic or not, it turned out to be a great scene.

reply

Yea it's realistic. Me and my football friends were like that. But none of us are gay we just mess around and stuff.

reply

I just wanna reply to back you up on this before someone barges in with an ignorant reply saying something douchey like 'Oh yeah suuuure you're totally not gay uh huh!'.

Sexuality isn't all black & white. Both women AND men experiment out of curiosity. It's perfectly natural. But there's certainly nothing wrong if it extends a little more beyond that.

What does fetish have to do with this?!? Oh wait, not a damn thing.

And if your going to comment, do some research. And you will find out that that kind of experementing is way more normal than you would ever thing.

reply

Exactly! Straight people don't think, yeah, what the heck, I'll try some gay action. That's a bunch of crap, and I've had gay guys try and pull that crap on me. Like, "no one will find out", and ,"I know you want to", and THEY think just because THEY think that way, that all men or women must think that way. It makes them feel more normal to convince others that it's fine.

reply

I agree. I'd love to see gay characters in a horror movie but these two didn't even do anything. They barely seemed interested in doing anything.

reply

I actually feel it was a little obligatory on their part. Someone said hey let's do something different. Then they put it in there with barely any thought put into it.

I said on another thread that most guys experiment with this stuff by the 8th grade; whether they are gay or not. So at their age (driving already) you would think they would be a tiny bit less naive than that. It was funny though.

reply

Straight boys do not engage in gay behavior for experimentation. This is a myth promulgated by people with an agenda. And I say this as a very open minded straight man. I don't care what consenting people want to do once their hormones have kicked into high gear. Of course with teens I think it is only appropriate for them to be with other teens. Furthermore, Boys at that age are overtly homophobic in an effort to keep their masculine reputations in tact. Besides, only a small percentage of kids at age 13 have had any sexual experiences at all. The lucky ones make out with the girl or guy they are dating, but rarely is sex involved unless you are talking about certain inner city groups where the girls are pregnant at age 12 and 13, but they are the exception and not the norm in American society.

reply

Yeah, you clearly don't know anything about straight boys, past or present.

reply

Spot on!

reply

he made a much better argument then you. In fact, from your lack of reasoned response, I have to doubt your sexuality, you sound like you may be in the closet.

reply

No doubt. The person pretending straight guys experiment like this is bogus. It's the agenda people trying to get others to do things they wouldn't do with peer pressure techniques and flat out lies. The VERY LAST THING A STRAIGHT GUY THINKS ABOUT IS SEXUAL EXPERIMENTATION WITH DUDES!!!

reply

most guys experiment with this stuff by the 8th grade

On which planet?

“Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance."

reply

On the planet where gay guys think that everyone thinks like they do to feel normal about why they want to have sex with guys. Straight guys are repulsed by the idea of gay sex. I think most don't give a crap if others do it as long as it doesn't involve them.

reply

I think you may just be correct

reply

I'm a straight man and I'm not even slightly repulsed of gay sex. It's more like boring for me.

reply

Lime I said, I don't care if gay people do whatever as long as its 2 consenting adults.
My question is, how does one know something is BORING unless they watched or participated?

reply

Yes finally!

I Am a Gay Dude and i thought the exact same thing. These boys had absolutely no chemistry... You can argue awkward gay teens in a small town doing things for the first time is not going to be emanating with heat...But sexual tension is sexual tension.

They prob could have used another pair of actors, or just make it a straight couple instead...

reply

I would hardly characterize this as a gay scene. I am inclined to believe this was just two young men exploring their sexuality. And the static, non-emotional manner in which they were debating how they were going to engage in sex acts made perfect sense. Kudos to the filmmakers for not portraying them as stereotypical effeminate or flamboyant characters. In reality, similar exchanges have probably played out in remote communities of this country between a million different couples, gay or not.

What's liberals obsession with homosexuality? It's f--king bizarre.

reply

You mean what's conservatives obsession right? Why would they care about gay marriage so much? And I take it you are yet another obsessed conservative. Otherwise why are you even on this post? You took the time to comment so you must think about it.

Most of that made no sense. If only conservatives obsessed with homosexuality would be 'on this post' then you must be the same because you are on here too. Duh.

And your last sentence is something a school kid would say, rather like 'takes one to know one' not to mention again you implicate yourself by saying only someone who comments in here must think about it. Duh.

reply

I have no problem implicating myself. That's why I did comment dumbase.

reply

It read to me more like these two were mostly straight, but flexible enough to experiment with each other in order to have some kind of sex. Well - the black kid maybe was gay, but I don't think his friend really was.

Still, it was cute. I liked the awkward innocence of it. They were so nervous! Then they never even got to do anything. Poor kids.

And yeah, agreed, it was a nice change of pace from the usual relentless hetero-hammering in these kinds of films.
