First replacement lead singer

I thought Banali was especially hard on that guy. He had an amazing voice, but had never performed as a lead singer before. The guy was a painter for years. Now he's got the most important job in the band at concerts. He wasn't going to be able to fill that role adequately after a dozen performances.

The problem is that Frankie seemed to think that because Mark could sing like Kevin Dubrow, that somehow he would learn to have the stage presence that Dubrow had. That never was going to happen no matter how many performances or practices they had. Mark just never had that confidence that a good singer needs to engage the audience.

And Frankie really has noone to blame but himself over Marks flubs onstage. He knew he was having problems memorizing the lyrics and it should have been up to him as the leader of the band to make sure Mark knew them and had them cold.

Absolutely. It's called "rehearsals".

Frankie was such a douche to Mark. Even if Mark had the stage presence of Kevin, nothing would come about from this. This band is done, been done for decades. They had one album with a couple hits, thirty years ago . Time to hang it up boys.
