The Documentary Kicked Ass

I really enjoyed watching this documentary!
Seeing the history of the band and the struggles they had in the beginning to get signed and get to the top, then the hard times after Kevin was fired and came back was well done! "Nudestock" and playing to a lot of genitalia was classic!!
The passion Frankie had and still has for Quiet Riot is straight from the heart! Seeing his struggle to come to grips with Kevin's death and how it affected him in a personal and professional basis was genuine, heart breaking and heart warming! Seeing his determination to get the band going again, not just at any level, but at a high level that he expects and more importantly the fans expect was refreshing! Although at times he seemed to be a little bit of a tyrant, but being from the NYC area I understood when he said he was just giving out some "NY tough Love", plus he had a lot on the line and set the bar high for them all.You can tell Frankie just didn't want to go about reforming the band in a half assed way or just for the money! He needed it to exercise some demons and he wanted the band to be succeesful and accepted again!
Frankie's love of the QR fans and how much he appreciates them is great! I wish all entertainers did the same!
I feel Regina did a great job writing and directing the film! I can't put my finger on it, but it had a different type of feel than other rock documentary's I've seen!

Again, I have to say well done!

Plus, I'm in the movie for about 10 seconds...I'm the big guy in navy blue scrubs behind Frankie at the Vollyball game!
