I hear this show was renewed, is that true? If so I'm totally shocked I don't know anyone who watched it more than once it's really bad.

This show is the WORST!!
In defense of the show, it's not the best show currently on TV but it's not the worst either.
The characters are likable enough. I enjoyed the storyline. It's not meant to be mentally taxing or edgy but something you can sit back and enjoy at the end of the day.
The show came from a small studio with lower expectation. That's probably the main reason why it was renewed.
Many sitcom don't develop a large fan base until after the second or third season. Give it a chance.
It's definitely not the worst (Harland Williams alone is not washing) but it's much closer to "worst" than "best" in my opinion. Sorry but I guess I have higher standards and don't want to have to give two or three years to a show that's not good just in the hopes it might get good someday. I watched most of season one and it mostly made me cringe. Think I laughed twice, both times at Harland Williams.
Add me to the list of people surprised this was renewed, I have no idea how TV executives work or why they make their decisions but when nobody I have met in real life likes a show I find it hard to believe when they decide to make another year of it.
