Will it be saved by international market again?

Its looking like it is going to fail in the US again, it had a large enough international take last time to green light a sequel...so will it happen again?

I think the plan was always to make this for an overseas market,but get what they can from the US.

The first one only made about 412 million last time, and that was probably just barely enough to greenlight this and that was with 101 million from the US. IS the international market really that excited for this film?

Domestic $28m (more than expected), China $65m.

Yeah China seems to eat that movie up, 28 is higher, but still below the disappointing domestic launch of the previous film. I guess we will see if the international market comes through for them. I wonder what it has to reach to be successful enough. More than the last film or about the same since its a little cheaper of a movie?
