Impact of a good Director vs. a bad Director.

Seeing a crap director is doing it, it should do well. Bad directors seem to bring in the brain dead.

Yet ironically, this is still better than The Shape of Water. I don't care how much acclaim that film received, of all the disappointing major releases I've seen in the last decade, it sucked the hardest.

Eh. The first one wasn't all that much better anyway.
