Seriously.. all you need and all we want to see is just a properly basic "premises of the story", something realistic and believable, and have Donnie Yen fighting an equally good opponent and let us enjoy on what he does best a.k.a "FIGHTING"

Here's a few plot for HK film makers:
1. Make him a gangster in the 80s without guns where he has to fight to survive
2. Get him undercover
3. Put him as a special SWAT team and just go all actions against terrorim
4. Just get him scapegoated, chased by all underworld and fight for it ala ekin change back in Young and Dangerous

The original iceman was more of a romantic comedy and action characteristic of the 90's spaghetti era (e.g. force of buddha's palm, peacock king, game boy kids, god of gamblers)

It just doesn't work on 2014, too much *beep* altogether, Linga? An ancient Hindu god's penis? Seriously?

You wasted Donnie in here, in a fantasy wuxia fight every good actor can do what he does, put him in SPL and Flash point or Ipman is where you need a guy like Donnie.

I can't belive they literally spent 200M HKD for this *beep*
