when will they release the sequel?

From all I have read, iceman 2 is set to come out next year in 2016. I guess originally iceman was gonna come out in April of 2014 and then the sequel in December of the same year, but I can't seem to find out y that didn't happen. But the 2nd is set to come out sometime in 2016
