This was a great movie, however I don't think it works this way........

And I know this was all a satire, and to not take it seriously, however I just wanted to point something out:

I do not believe that men would just go out into that great night, without a serious fight, lol.
I picture a bloodbath and a trantical overthrow of the women's government. I mean think about it, even though there are plenty of women police and military leaders, I think the nature testosterone plays a huge factor in violence, which is actually stated very well in this movie where there is a future without any more wars. There is still all the women that want to be like men, and women that want to be men, that it would have taken longer for it to just go away. Also the fact that almost all of the serious human death machines that make up the military of the world are men, they would put a serious beating on women before being just snuffed out and put into camps and all.

Like I said, it's just a funny movie and all, I know.

I agree with you. I was actually planning a novel with a very similar premise where only female babies are born, but parthenogenesis never happens and the human race is facing eventual extinction. And a lot of the men and up becoming violent and destructive before that happens forming terrorist groups as society slowly falls apart and conflict and only gradually did things start to improve as the men get older and start dying off but it still won't be utopia. Also my story was going to have a real lot of lesbianism, which most films of this nature tend to be somewhat prudish about displaying.
