This sure does look like Syfy is trying to create their own Fear tv show. If you guys don't know, look it up. It was a old MTV paranormal show.

Yeah I remember FEAR. It had more of a game show factor to it. Which was good because it forced the participants to do solo investigation if they wanted to stay and win the cash prize. I remember 1 episode where there were no winners because they all quit.

Fear was awesome. This show...not so much.
I liked in Fear how they would eliminate someone because they didn't finish a task or refused.
Well, Fear paved the way for reality paranormal shows. In the way where they send "regular" people to a "haunted" place to explore and claim it's only them filming their experiences. Only Fear was more a game and you had to do things in order to win money at the end(not to say those involved in this show and others similar don't get paid). I don't know what Stranded's protocol is, but I know MTV revved the kids up(like keeping them awake and making read/watch "scary" things), so they'd be on edge and easily spooked.
