shareI'm not sure how you can criticize the lack of originality in Indian films when lack of originality is rampant through Hollywood right now. Look at all the remakes over the last 5+ years, not to mention prequels, sequels, movies based on comic books, movies based on video games, it goes on and on. We're in an era where all Hollywood does is rehash old ideas, so to specifically call out Indian filmmakers for this seems a little unfair.
shareRemaking a movie within a nation is not bad, just making sure to reach every corner of the country. Because people are not aware of blockbuster from their neighboring state. In the end all the version stays and to be called Indian.
