Still Buzzing.

I don't remember the first movie very well, but I watched a good Hour of it when I saw it on television sometime in the last 18 months. I enjoyed that so much. So I knew what I was in for with the sequel.

Saw this last night with my mother and sister. I loved it, so much. There needs to be feel good movies like this, the integrity of such quality stars, juxtaposed with the backdrop of a setting like India, a storyline like Sonny's, the entertainment is everywhere. There isn't one moment you're bored, or not fascinated. I love each individual character's storyline as well as the general message and tone of the Film.

There are so rare a charming a character as Sonny in films these days. Dev Patel honestly captured me. So did the rest of the cast, every person. Is Bill Nighy ever boring, and do Maggie Smith and Judi Dench ever disappoint? But each cast member shone on their own too.

I could go on... The Dancing itself was an amazing climax to the film, The Wedding. I was mesmerized, and hardly ever NOT grinning.

I found it gorgeous to watch. It made me miss a heritage I'm not connected to anymore, being Fijian Indian born and European raised, as I am adopted.

I loved it, beautifully shot with messages for young and old about life, love and knowing what you want.

I think there will definitely be a third, tie up those loose ends.

I think a third film will be happening as a way of concluded the series particularly with muriel.

I would now like to say I've sat and watched the first one again, and my love for these films has only grown. I can't fault either of them. So much love and both presented in a different tone. Maggie Smith remains my favourite, along with Bill but as I say each of them shine. They're all fantastic characters. I especially applaud the first for being so honest about age and culture.
