I'm watching this now and ...

Uh oh. ... This is really pathetic.

Here it is 2013, post SPR and BoB (by a decade) and the filmmakers are using 1950s era props. T34 hulls and who knows what turrets (Super Pershing?) for German tanks is one thing, but 1917-era German helmets is beyond bad. Can't believe two major SPR and BoB alumns actually star in it ... Makes it even worse.

I don't mean to nit pick and I'm sure there are other errors, as these movies are never all that accurate, but the yellow 60s vintage chevron on the one guy's field jacket is such an obvious mistake. The other guys have accurate patches. Maybe it was because it looked better on film or made the actor stand out. At this point, the gear you see in these movies have been in dozens of movies and authenticated over & over, so the decision to use a 60s chevron was probably a cinematic choice.

Still bugs me.

The two glaring things that I noticed were the fact that the American soldiers were equipped with British Enfield bolt action rifles instead of the M-1 Garand and M1 Carbine. Plus their "Sniper Rifle" looks to be a German Gewehr 43 semi automatic rifle. Couldn't finish the movie. Just too corny.

SO bad.

I won't catch all of the historical innacuracies, but the unbelievable bad CGI blood and explosions just ruin the movie for me.

I agree, the flashes from the submachine guns were the worst. That and there was no kick back from the recoil. I noticed most of the time when the Germans were being shot, they were in tight quarters where they were made easy targets. Still when you are the forth or fifth person and you see the guys in front of you getting whacked, I sure as hell wouldn't keep pressing the attack.
