Williamson County District Attorney John Bradley

Williamson County District Attorney John Bradley "tenaciously fought" DNA testing for six years before a judge finally ordered the tests.

What is the point of this?

Addendum: I wrote the above before I saw the program. From the program:

"The district attorney said that doing the DNA testing would 'muddy the waters'" Mr. Morton's attorney replied that the truth clears the waters. I guess not, if the truth is embarrassing. Better just to leave the man where he is, I suppose, than to be embarrassed.

Although, upon reflection, it wasn't Bradley's mistake that sent Mr. Morton to prison, it was someone else' mistake. It wasn't even his own @$$, that he was covering.

Psychopaths sleep fine at night.
