Feels like a real-life Shawshank

Like the movie, a husband wrongfully convicted of his wife's murder. Also, Morton, like Andy Dufresne in Shawshank, has a calm demeanor and is well liked by the other inmates, especially for doing things that benefit the other prisoners and not just themselves. As in the film, the real killer was a violent repeat offender. While the warden in Shawshank was the antagonist, Morton's are the original prosecutor and the D.A. Bradley. They cared nothing about his actual innocence.

And just like the movie, you feel uplifted by a story of grievous wrongdoing that turns into a powerful message of redemption.
