Grow up and get over yourselves. Call me an a**hole, but those of you complaining about 9/11 can shut up. That happened and it's over with, Move On!

I have seen The Towering Inferno (1974), and I have no idea why that movie matters to this one (besides you people saying it's a rip off yada yada, I get it).

The movie was great. I know everyone has opinions, but if your opinion for it failing is because 1. a Rip off of 1974 movie, or 2. September 11, 2001, then I can't take your opinion seriously.

Come at this with a fresh mind. If you still happen to hate it, then okay I don't have a problem.

Exactly. They can shut about it and move on already. Its happened and there's nothing they can do about it. Besides, this chopper malfunction scenario has got nothing to do with it. It's barely a disaster film.
