Any English subtitles?

I watched it on YouTube with English subtitles, but they were the worst I've ever seen. They were all messed up with
the wrong words. But they did sort of help get through the Aussie accents.

That’s insane, I’ve never even considered that people from another English speaking country would need subtitles to make sense of an Australian movie. I know the accent is unique but... wow... that’s kind of hilarious to me!!

Wow! A blast from the past! It's not insane, their accents were incredibly thick!

As an Aussie myself I respectfully disagree, the accents seemed fairly mild and neutral to me.

The outback characters in Crocodile Dundee had much thicker Aussie drawls. Did you need subtitles for that too??

Of course they seemed mild to you, you're an Aussie. Just like American accents would seen natural to me.
As to Crocodile Dundee, I really had no problem understanding the characters.

That’s cool. Just interesting to me that the Aussie accent would be hard for Americans to follow.

Personally I’ve never needed subtitles for an English language movie, certainly not American films, but even those with thick regional accents like Scottish or Irish films.

Maybe it’s because I grew up watching a lot of tv shows and films from overseas.

Actually, the worst ones are the Brits, Scots and Irish. At least for us Yanks.
