Good question. I think if you're in any major movie you have to be paid at least a base pay. I would like to think these kids would get some money out of the movie. I'm not sure this movie will make major profits unless word of mouth really spreads and it does really well. If it's nominated in the Best Feature Documentary category of the Oscars that would go a long way.

Documentaries rarely make money. They had to crowd fund this film. They will most likely break even just to bring you this story. The film makers will not use this as an investment piece to propel them to buy acreage and open a production studio and offer shareholder profits so no worries.
