Yeah, and the problem is called poverty. But you didn't catch that point did you?

I don't think poverty was the problem. Do you honestly think if these families (at least two of them) got a million bucks tomorrow, their problems would be solved? I don't think they would. I think the parents in particular have a lot of issues to sort out, and they'd likely only be rich and dysfunctional even if they won the lottery. I've known families similar to these people, and they're not poor like this.

My prayers go out to all involved in this heart-wrenching documentary, especially the three boys. I was amazed at Andrew's maturity and wisdom - it's like he was the father of his family. I hope everyone who watched this documentary will remember these boys in their prayers.

This is a faithful saying...Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Or better yet, do something.

I apologize, I realize you meant it in a good way, and are probably a really good person. But offering a wish to the gods is hardly something that will make a tangible difference. If a kind thought is all you have to give, I can't say it's a bad thing.

Drugs, mental illness and low intelligence make for an unfit parent cocktail.
