Andrew's dad and the mountain of lottery tickets

Anyone else catch that scene, while they were living at the cousins' house?

He was a perpetual dreamer, and it wouldn't surprise me if he (and many, if not most, of the other parents and grandparents too) used other drugs too.

The above interview said that whenever his dad got a "real job", people (he didn't say who) would harass those employers and tell them that his dad was a bad person and they didn't want him working there. Weird.

Perpetual dreamer? Nah. Most likely Bipolar II.

I noticed the lottery tickets as well. It's very sad to see.

If I lived that life, I'd be using drugs, too.

Caught it as well.

His redeeming quality was that he loved his son. He wasn't a bad guy, but he was a horrible breadwinner.

Hopefully Andrew can make something of his life. He seemed like a good soul.

the kid can make it on his own in a few years he needs to drop his parents like a bad habit... because thats what they are.
