maybe this will get me banned from IMDB but I hope over the pond shows continue to thrive, I know many trolls or american young children that have internet access enjoy getting people to adhere to there belief but glad people with a mind of their own do not buy into that

Amen from another American ! I watch more British shows than ours in the States even though I've seen all episodes & can recite the scripts! I'd rather watch an episode of "As Time Goes By", for example ,for the millionth time , than the trash we have now!

Oh yes, IMDb is notorious for banning Americans for preferring British shows.

I am halfway through the first series, and yes I am American. I absolutely love this show. I hope they are planning more.

I have always preferred British television. It's always been more intelligent and humorous than American shows and films.
