This amazing fantasy show which is so refreshing and much better than harry potter has only one book? Please magical people of imdb, lets unite and show our support for this series so they make more seasons evenif it's not cannon.

Susanna Clarke is reportedly working on a book which focuses on characters occupying lower social status. That might mean Childermass, Vinculus, possibly Honeyfoot and Segundus.
The ratings that the show attracted aren't really an issue here though because the work is not complete and therefore not available for adaptation.

It was left open at the end, with several questions unanswered and the fates of characters unresolved. A second season was obviously warranted, yet it's been five years, so I guess it's over.
