Cloverfield is a STUPID name for a horror franchise

Sounds like a mansion in rural England, for crying out loud!

Have you seen Midsomer Murders? Rural England is deadly!

It's the name of the road that the production company is on, I think Cloverfield Blvd. I've passed it a few times, it's near the Santa Monica airport, which itself used to be named Clover Field.
