My theory

The only way I can see this connecting all films is if the beginning of the movie takes place in the 10 CL timeline and the aliens have already attacked while there in space, then once the experiment or whatever makes earth disappear and then come back. Then once earth does come back. The survivor or survivors escape or somehow cause the satellite from the first film to fall and wake up the monster. The kicker? When earth disappeared and came back, it came back in an alternate universe where the alien invasion didn't take place but the monster attack did
