I hope this doesn't try to tie the two cloverfield movies together

At first I was mad about cloverfield Lane not really having a thing to do with the original. But honestly part of what makes the first movie so good is that sense of mystery. I just don't know where they can take it with a direct sequel to either of them.

So I actually like the idea of these movies being more like twilight zone episodes with no real "BIG" relation.

Also all the people saying it will be a prequel to the original because of the satellite. That doesn't make sense. This movie is about the earth being gone all the sudden. I think they're in a different dimension.
