The Ending (final scene) Possible Spoiler Alert

Maybe I missed something in the final scene, but was the guy in the end with the mask the cop shot, the exact killer he had been chasing? The masked guy seemed to have his gun, glued to his hand, and revealing part of the mask, really didn't say for sure, who it was.

Outside of that, I really loved the movie, the whole concept was original for a crime thriller, and it held my complete attention from start to finish. 8/10 for me.

Makeup under the person's left eye hinted at the person being the clown friend that the killer associated with.

Those are brave men. Lets go kill them.

Yeah, was another decoy. As the other poster said, most likely the clown(which would explain why he would attempt to shoot Jeter even if being setup).

I think (although not 100% sure) that the kidnapper and the kidnapped was the exact same person, what we saw of him being tortured by the kidnapper was just what he told everyone happened...

I'm not 100% sure about the last scene, I think maybe that was a random case and that's where he got the inspiration to glue the gun to his hand to make him look innocent even though he knew he was probably gonna get shot it was worth the risk for him to get away with killing the ppl he did

It was FREE PIZZA! Free... *beep*... pizza!

The real killer doesn't die, that's the whole point of the last scene. That "some guys are too smart and never get caught".

The fake killer at the end was probably the clown friend of the killer and / or the killer's apprentice being set up. The protagonist is the only one who knows that the real killer got away.

Finally some logic!!

I don't know why every movie now has to be interpreted differently than what it is.

Not every movie is Fight Club.
