Couldn't they have made at least one of the 3 lead actors an Australian, and why would Bryan Brown's daughter n Garry McDonald's daughter both have pommy accents when their fathers don't or the mum.and the main bloke has a pommy accent instead of an Australian.

I am from Australia and it didn't worry me at all.

There were plenty of British immigrants then, especially in Western Australia so it's historically correct.
