Why the switch up in cast?

Just finished watching Born to Race, and to my surprise, this is on the way but.. changing the main character actors around is never a good thing..

i doubt that, the guys who replaced them are bigger stars, they're also in Awkward on MTV together so i'm guessing somehow MTV are involved

I really don't think Joseph would return to do a Direct-to-DVD sequel. He has moved on to more prestigious fare like Lincoln.

joseph did fine job in the first and sadly they replaced him :///

jessica still here tho.. gna check out the movie ;s but I miss freddy and his father(the original cast :((

I didn't watch the first movie but this one great acting from all the cast including the young cowboy.

So disappointed they did too. When I first saw the cover, I thought it would not be related to the first movie. Was sad when I realized that they just "re-cast" the roles. :-(

I loved and miss the cast of Born 2 Race

First movie was much better in comparison. Better cast, better atmosphere and pretty much better everything overall. The second movie just seems to be a rehash of the first one as there are many moments that seem similar to the first. The only redeeming parts of the movie are Tiffany Dupont's legs after her shower, Nicole's ass in those tight dresses she wears and the red Scion FR-S.

I also miss the original Danny and Frank :( This is like making a Fast movie and recasting Vin or Paul. I feel robbed!
