I always give new Canadian shows a chance, but this shows SUCKS.
How the hell did CTV go from producing potentially Emmy-award winning dramatic series Orphan Black for its small cable network to this piece of garbage for its main network. The entire half an hour, not a single laugh was cracked out of me and i LOVE comedy.
But as soon as Anger Management came on, I was laughing my ass off.
Ugh, disappointment. The jokes weren't even funny.
First episode was pretty bad but hoping it will improve since there are a lot of shows that had brutal premieres and got better. The whole episode felt like the very first day the cast even met they decided to film a full episode even though I know that wasn't the case. Just seemed like there was no chemistry to be found short of the water sprayed on Leah's chest to look like sweat. It got along well with her cleavage. Then all I could think about was at least The Playboy Club was a decent show with her cleavage on full display in the bunny suit too. About all I took from the show sadly because my brain was wandering too much from a lack of being humored. I also couldn't help but feel Sahay would have been the funniest thing about this show and they dropped him from it.
Anyway, so far it seems like just another sitcom rushed to air because CTV are desperate for another Corner Gas.
Hahaha your joke about chemistry made me laugh. Too bad the show didn't.

There was one episode Belleville wrote himself, which was OK, and the guest stars parading through are pretty amazing, but overall, this is a WTF kind of "why are they making jokes about that?" kind of show. Yet another "let's hammer joke after joke after joke as fast as humanly possible so people will think we are pogh so clever".
It didn't work for Go On (which was 10 times cleverer), it didn't work for Happy Endings (which somehow managed to survive for 2 seasons) and it shouldn't work for this.
I had never heard of MacFarlane or Renee again and I hope this is not the kiss of death for either of them, as I do try to support my fellow Canadians. WHich is why I WATCH the show.
But you can't make me like it.
