Come on . . . it wasn't THAT bad


I almost turned it off after about ten minutes but it ended up being pretty good for a low-budget thriller, imho.

Visually (shot in West Virginia) this is a gorgeous movie, the directing is good and the scenery is breathtaking.

Yes, there is some bad acting but remember, that these movies are shot on a very tight budget. So, the director is limited with who they can cast, De Niro's salary is usually what . . . in the 12 million range? This entire production only cost $500,000, so I'll give them a break on some of the actors.

Pretty good movie on a slow night or a snowy day, 5/10 cheers.
