It looks like the bodies of Alex Lowe and David Bridges may have been found in melting ice, or so says an Associated Press report released today.
This film was so interesting that I remembered immediately who they were.
Yes. I'm sure this will bring closure to Jennifer Lowe/Anker, and to Conrad.
shareConrad and Jennifer (and the boys) planned to go to Tibet and retrieve Alex's body and have a cremation ceremony. They have probably done thus by now (haven't heard anything about it, but they did request privacy around this). The news inspired me to re-watch the 2007 film The Endless Knot which is about Alex Lowe, his death and Conrad's struggle with survivor's guilt, leading to the establishment of the Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation. It showed how Conrad and Jennifer started the Khumbu Climbing Center to help young Sherpa workers learn safe mountaineering practices. An engaging film, highly recommended.
