Wonder if they will also do documentary on George Soros as well

George Soros has been influencing who gets elected. Soros donated $23 million to various 527 groups dedicated to defeating President Bush. $3 million to the Center for American Progress, $2.5 million to MoveOn.org, and $20 million to America Coming Together. Will they do a documentary about him as well?

It's ironic that a billionaire like Charles Koch on the Libertarian/right is portrayed as an evil puppet-master by the special interest lobbying groups on the left, all while being bankrolled by billionaires themselves.

Don't forget Big Labor organizations like AFL-CIO and AFSCME!

reply

They're addressed in the movie.

They don't have nearly the influence of the Koch brothers. Neither does Soros.

reply

meh. libertarian for the win.

reply

Good question. Doubtful because the left wouldn't want to hurt their benefactor.

Nothing to stop a right winger from making it now is there.

reply

People like the Koch Brothers and Soros usually fail colossally to wield much influence on election results, which is something commentators tend to forget or willfully ignore.

reply

Don't forget Tom Steyer.

reply

OP, that's called black and white thinking and overgeneralizing. The Koch brother's exert much more influence than Soro's does, and they are much more evil.

There is a line that divides the left and the right but depending on who you are, that line can seem very thick indeed.

Dems can be as bad as Reps but as I always said, "They both want to screw you but the Dems at least buy you dinner first."

That feeling is usually reverse when you have someone who has some money or raised on different ideals. It's all the same and always has been. The rich keep us bickering so they can keep going to the bank. It's a great plan and works really well.

Libertarians have some nice ideas and some very bad ones. It's really the hard headed ideology that makes all the parties not ideal. They all have good points and bad, some more than others but no one is willing to bend and the wealthy count on it. Same with all the systems in the history of the world like Communism and Socialism, etc.

Humans needs to be smarter than just looking at the whole but at the parts that work and the ones that don't or get used to being owned by the wealthy and powerful.
