How'd this"Rate"so high!?I fell Asleep,NO Surprise,its boring+slow!!...

I have to ask,Am I the only 1 tired of these Outbreaks from ALL of the various genre categories?!Ranging in the movie release Years of around 2000,&on up to Recent ones,that they call'em movies?This is perfect example of just that!Let alone its a hit&miss w/watching films.I rather don't tend to watch'em based on "Good Ratings&Reviews",being everyone has a different opinion.But I wonder when A Lot of people rate ones much like this movie,w/high"Star Ratings"!!Yet posts&reviews are on Both sides,but when it comes to a poorly rated movie that Realy is a Bad one!!It makes me wonder if the casted Actors who by chance are either just starting out,or have done way better "B-Minus"-typa films,&are really Wanting or Needing to be in a film.Do they ever realize in some way before signing on,by the movie script for casting(intuition,a light bulb comes on,...)or something,that its a Really A BAD Film plot/story line,etc.But NOT CARE possibly how itd affect their future Acting career??Just sayin...
As I'd said,I fell asleep through it(&wonder if others did too,lol),but Id watched from where I remembered ruffly leaving off.it was Both:Slow 2 Start,Slow 2 End,&simply put,Boring.Which brings me to my next point,being why is it movies similarly boring an all aspects(the acting dialog is bland,whether its bcuz the actors truly are that cheezy&badly chosen,or if its the Directors expectations of the Actors),to where this films summary was more interesting-yet like other bad movies with or without high ratings,its deceiving.
**Side Note: Another film Id recently did the same thing,&I'd fallen asleep through it,thats called"Beautiful Prison".It too is slow+boring,cheezy dialog+acting.
