I mean literally! I think the director did this due to not knowing how to make a 1 1/2 hour movie. Hey George, let's just slow all scenes into slow mo and see if it can pass as some cinematic art!

It was VERY SLOW and VERY BORING. That doesn't mean that no one understood the plot. I understood it perfectly. It was very clear, it just so to move along extremely slow.
Your assumption that moving along faster means explosions is really *beep* retarded. That has nothing to do with it.
