Over dramatic lesson learning

That's the problem with the writing on this show. They don't let the viewer decide anything or leave anything up to the imagination. It's all "what's the meaning of life...who am I...what is love!?" constantly in an overbearing way. Then they force feed you the answers. Boy Meets World didn't do that! It's a lot disappointing. Even with Shawn and Maya's mom nothing happened naturally It was forced and uber narrated. I'm losing interest in this.

This show has gotten unbearable! I grew up on Boy Meets World - it's my favorite show ever, and I honestly don't know if anyone was more excited for Girl Meets World than me! Every episode is worse than the last now - melodramatic, heavy-handed and utterly ridiculous. The fun friendships and hilariously antics from BMW, peppered with some genuine and relatable lessons, are gone. Riley and Maya are just sad all the time. I don't think I can watch anymore.

This show needs the "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" treatment and needs to undergo a serious revamp. "Saved by the Bell" was a huge hit after GMMB tanked, so perhaps this show could get the same treatment? It just needs to be off of Disney channel and touch on some actual heavy topics we can take seriously and not this care-bear stuff they want us to sink in. Then it can live up to the hype of BMW and be a success.
