It's an unfortunate yet fitting testament to the legacy of "GMW"....

that I was more moved by the reunions of Eric/Feeny, Shawn/Mr. Turner, and the showing up of both Morgans than anything regarding the children. I'm glad that Shawn is going to adopt Maya but other than that....really don't care. Riley and Lucas' conversation didn't affect me at all, didn't care about Zay reassuring Riley that he'll look after Lucas....this show really didn't stand on its own without the BMW tie in. As someone once said on this forum: "Rider makes GMW Strong". He really did, and the more I think about it he should have been a regular. (Of course, that's if he wanted to, which he didn't.)

As I said before, I honestly can't say I'll miss this show. There were some good moments, I'll admit. I did laugh from time to time, and Sabrina Carpenter is the future of hip-hop and rock and roll, and I was glad to witness her breakout and rise. But last night I watched the season finale of "The Good Place". A 13-episode season of a show that ran over the course of four months, that had no legacy based on a beloved TV show from the past, managed to move, thrill, and get me more emotionally invested in the characters and their relationships than the entirety of a show I've been watching since 2014. That's notable.

Goodbye "Girl Meets World". Thanks for bringing back beloved characters, for providing comedic genius Will Friedle with an opportunity to make a comeback to television, and for introducing me to Sabrina Carpenter.

Obama out. (Don't read anything political into that, just using a sign-off he once used that is relevant to today for obvious reasons.)
