Eric and Feeney fued?!

That's a reference to Eric's viral campaign video that had been circulating a few months ago. In the video, Eric mentions that Feeny didn't play a role in him getting elected senator (basically saying it was a struggle without Feeny's help).

I know that Will Friedle has said he’s not going to do the Feeny call anymore. He’s passed it onto the girls (which never made sense to me since Feeny doesn’t mean to the girls what he did to Eric) but I imagine that’s because he just doesn’t want to do it anymore, lol. So when it appeared in this episode that Eric was going to “Feeny Call” Mr. Feeny but then didn’t, I figured having them feud was just their jokey way of having him not do it. Because if there was no feud, of course Eric would do the Feeny call.

I would have changed one thing. After there interaction, I would have had Mr. Feeny say “I’m proud of you.” Eric would ask why? Feeny would respond with “You’re a senator. That’s something I can honestly say NONE of us saw coming. So I’m proud of you for that.” Then Eric would have one of his comical emotional moments where he’d say “Bring it in!” And then go in for a hug his mentor.
